Written By: opticals - Apr• 14•12

On 10th Apr., the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) held a discussion on “project for strengthening to attract French tourists to Vietnam” which was studied by Travel Department. The event had the attendance of VNAT’s leaders and representatives of functional units.

To French tourists, Vietnam is home to beautiful landscapes, a long history and diversified culture, good security and politic stability, friendly people and attractive services. Therefore, France is one of top 10 source markets of Vietnam tourism; the French have long stay, usually over 2 weeks.

Recognizing French market’s tourist potentials, Vietnam tourism sector plans to develop specific strategies to attract more French tourists to Vietnam as well as to extend their stay and encourage them to come back in future.

The project has analyzed characteristics of French market; Vietnam’s capacity to meet French tourists’ demands; activities to promote the market; and solutions to enhance the attraction and quality of services for French tourists.

At the discussion, participants have contributed ideas aiming to increase the project’s feasibility in practice; focusing on solutions such as attracting Vietnamese overseas’ participation in promoting Vietnam’s image in France; linking tours between Vietnam and Southeast Asia destinations; developing tourist products in accordance with French customers’ demand; establishing Vietnam tourism website for French market and cooperating with Vietnam Cultural Center in France… to promote Vietnam’s image.

It is hoped that the project on strengthening to attract French tourists to Vietnam would bring about high success, contributing to welcome 7 to 7.5 million international arrivals to Vietnam in 2015.

Car Rental Australia: Get To Know Some Useful Information

Written By: admin - Mar• 19•12

Car rental Australia

Australia is a country with plenty of things to see and enjoy. You can criss-cross the country by renting out a car and travel without any difficulty. However, you need to understand some basics from www.carrental.com.au

What does it cost for Car Rental?

While there are so many special offers, it is possible to rent a car, for instance, at $50 per day, for travel from Perth to Broome or Kununura. You can choose to drop the car at either of these two places. There are operators who offer a rental of $30 per day.

What about road conditions?

When you drive between cities in the eastern and south-eastern areas, you can rest assured that the roads are well maintained and can help you travel very fast. In the highways, you can find many rest rooms, though not all of them have toilets. When you go to the remote areas – also called as “outback” areas – you need to carry lots of food and water, and drive for long hours without rest, in the absence of rest rooms.

What precautions do I need for car rental Australia?

When you are driving through outback areas, availability of spare parts and motor mechanics is rather limited. You will be safe if you rent out a more common simple car to ensure that you get the spare parts you need or get a local mechanic to fix any problem in your car.

What about my driving license?

A valid driving license is a must. If you belong to Malta, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, Canada, Netherlands, Austria, Denmark, Croatia, Finland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Germany, France, Greece, Italy, Norway, Switzerland and most other countries of Europe, and the US, and have a valid driving license in English, you can convert you their foreign driving license to Australian license by paying the administrative fee. Visitors, from countries other than those mentioned above, have to take a practical and theory examination for getting a valid driving license.

Is there any more useful information?

You need to compulsorily use seat belts. Rules are very strictly enforced. If your car meets with an accident and there is human injury or property damage, you need to stop and render assistance. If you don’t do this, the law can come down heavily upon you.

If you drive in the highways, you do not have to worry about connectivity through cell phones.
